v4.2.0 gives Daily a quieter place to keep personal notes: Diary, diary images, responding characters, and permission groups. It also adds Storage Capacity, diary backup and restore, clearer phrase group deletion choices, Tarot spread customization, and stability improvements.
1. Write Diary Entries Inside Daily
Daily is getting a new Diary area. You can write entries, keep a draft, publish and organize posts, and add a local image and diary background.
Each diary entry can choose which characters or permission groups may respond. Allowed characters can leave later replies from local phrase cards; diary text, images, and reply data stay on your device.
2. Review and Clean Local Storage
Settings will include a Storage Capacity overview for approximate local usage across chat images, diary, voice, Daily, Tarot, stickers, and other in-app data.
You can also clean orphaned files. If you choose to delete chat-image source files by time range, DreamChat shows a clear warning first and continues only after you confirm.
3. Diary Is Included in Backup and Restore
Complete backup and restore will cover diary entries, diary images, and diary backgrounds. Backups remain local files you create, save, or share yourself, so keep them secure and share them only with people you trust.
4. Clearer Choices When Deleting Phrase Groups
When deleting a custom phrase group, you can move its cards to General or delete the cards too. This makes it easier to organize your phrase library without accidentally removing something you meant to keep.
5. Customize Tarot Spread Position Meanings
You can customize the position meanings for one-card and three-card Tarot spreads. New readings save the position titles used at draw time, so saved readings keep their context even if you change the settings later.
6. Fixes and Stability
Daily anniversary card background fading is smoother, with issue fixes and overall stability improvements.
